It finally snowed!!

Tyler was anxious to play in the snow when he woke up on morning after our first snowfall of the year! That afternoon he went out to test his new sled and went down the hill three times before saying it was too cold outside! It was only about 10 degree's out, so I knew he wouldn't stay long. We waited until it warmed up a little then bundled up and went out to play. Zach decided he didn't like sledding after one run down the hill. The only thing he was interested in was eating the snow!! Tyler made snowballs (and threw them at mom!), made snow angels, went down the hill many times and also ate enough snow to count as lunch! I'm really not a bad mom - Zach had gloves, but kept taking them off because they kept him from getting enough snow in his mouth. He literally sat in the snow for over a half an hour just eating snow! There were deer tracks all around us, which made me cringe wondering how clean the snow really was - but despite any warnings the boys didn't care. Of course, we had to come inside and warm up with hot chocolate and soup for lunch.

Zach adores his big brother and that Tyler looks out for his little brother. They have their moments, but most of the time they do great together!

Zach is our little guy! He turned two in August and is going to grow up to be the class clown! He already knows how to turn on the smile or make a face to get what he wants!

Tyler's 5 year old pictures. We opted to keep him in preschool one more year so he would be the oldest in his classes at school. He was sad to leave his old preschool, but adapted great to his new one and had a best friend by the end of the first week! We are amazed all the time by his memory and thinking skills. For example, last week we had Hot Pockets for lunch and he was so excited to remind me that we had the same flavor Hot Pockets for our first dinner in the new house. That was 5 months ago! And he's always trying to figure out how things work or asking a million questions about what things are. Now, if only I could get him to stay next to me in a store and not act wild!!
