Jingle Bells!

Tyler loves to sing karaoke at Grandma's NKCH Christmas party each year.  As you can see by some of his looks, he wasn't too excited about Zach joining in, especially when Zach started to steal his thunder!!  But both did a great job and it was so cute.

Rylie summed up the feelings of all three kids when she seemed to be saying "Enough is enough"!

Zach's 3rd Birthday

Both boys were super excited to have a party at Chuck E Cheese!  None of the adults were that excited to be there, but we decided it was all for them anyway, so we could deal with it for a few hours!  Zach was happy to get a Leapster (he calls it his DS, since that's what Tyler has) from Grandma and Grandpa.  It was super cool to get a horse trailer and truck like Pappy's!  He was just as excited to get a slinky and lots of cash to go pick out his own toys at the toy store.

Tyler's 6th Birthday Party

Tyler doesn't believe it's really his birthday until the day of his party! He had a great time with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle theme (an oldie but goodie that he returns to occasionally). You can also see that Daddy and Adam had a great time playing with trucks. They will say it was to keep Zach happy - but they were scooping up pretzels and really getting into it! Tyler got a Razor scooter from Mom and Dad along with a trip to Chuck E Cheese with a friend. Grandma and Grandpa got him a bike and Mimi and Pappy got him a much desired Mario DS game. He got a lot of cash and gift cards to go toward DS and Wii games and maybe a trip to the movies. He got airbrush markers from Uncle Brian (meant to drive Mommy crazy, I think!) that he loved. It was a simple party, but he was very happy and that's all that matters!

Tyler turned 6 on July 13th!! I can't believe how fast time flies by. I need to dig out some of his baby pics and pictures over the past 6 years to post. He also lost his first tooth, which he is proudly showing off in this picture! It had been loose for a while, but I was afraid to pull it and hurt him. He must have been playing with it and distracting the other kids in church, because his teacher got a tissue and pulled it out for him. He walked Tyler to me with the tooth wrapped up and a huge grin on his face!! Somehow, we all forgot to put it under his pillow that night, but the next night he got 3 gold dollars! Somewhere he got that into his head that gold is what the tooth fairy brought!

Rylie was blessed in church on Sunday, June 27th by her daddy along with her Pappy (Joe's dad) and her uncle, Brian Tingey. She did great and didn't cry at all! She looked like an angel in her beautiful gown. Since Daddy isn't a big fan of pictures, we didn't get a family pic but I wanted at least one with her! The blanket that she is on was made from my wedding dress. All three kids were blessed wrapped this blanket. I knew long before we were married that I wanted to have something meaningful for these important days in our family.

Rylie's 6 week old picture. We have a wonderful family friend (Stephanie Yates) who has made a blanket for each of our kids. The boys had similiar pictures taken when they were 6 weeks old also. She has been such a joy and blessing. We can't stop kissing her - all four of us! The boys always want to hold her and we have many fights about who gets to go first. I know that they will eventually break the swing because they practically lay on her when she's in it just to be near her. But she is very patient and so calm amid all the chaos and noise that goes on around her. She's starting to smile and as much as I love this snuggly time, I can't wait until she can really start showing her personality.

Tyler loves being able to spend time with Nate, his cousin, who lives next door. The older boys do great with including Zach when they play at our house or outside. But when they go play at Nate's house, Zach feels left out. Sometimes when that happens Zach gets to do something fun at home. He had a great time making cupcakes with Mom and licking the spoon!

New Blog Name/Address!

As I said before, 4burch didn't work for us anymore. I have spent weeks trying to come up with something. Each time I thought I had a good one, Blogger said it wasn't available! So when I noticed that Joe called each of the kids his little monkey I knew it had to be something along those lines. So we now are "daddys3littlemonkeys"! I don't really post things about Joe and I (we aren't that exciting!) so making the title about the kids is fitting. Then I found a cute new design to fit the title - hope you think it's as cute as I do!

Daddy's Princess

It's summer! Time to go to the park...

It just occured to me that 4burch.blogspot.com doesn't work for us anymore. When I titled it that it seemed perfect, just the four of us. Now what do I do?! Someone suggested that a fourth child would make it work, but that certainly will not happen!! I wonder if you can change the name but keep it all the same?

Easter 2010

Zach wasn't so sure of the Easter Bunny, which is why Mom had to get in the picture! This was at the Easter Egg hunt on Saturday. Then on Sunday, the boys spent a lot of time going through the goodies that the Easter bunny brought and trying to eat 2 pounds of chocolate for breakfast! Then it was off to a yummy brunch with friends. The boys had another Easter egg hunt during dinner at Grandma Betty's later than afternoon.

St Patricks Day

We thought it was going to be a beautiful spring day as we made our way to the Snake Saturday Parade, but by the time we set up our chairs the drizzle and wind started! Everyone braved the cold and wet and the boys learned how to scramble out of blankets quickly when candy was being thrown!!

Then both boys had a good time at Tyler's preschool party. Tyler is always adamant that Zach be a part of any preschool party or field trip. Tyler watches out for his brother, even down to sharing his snack with Zach.

We're Having A Baby Girl!!

Pictures of our baby girl! She was a surprise - in fact in one sonogram we confimed a pregnancy, found out I was 20 weeks along and that it was a girl - but a welcomed addition to our family!! Zach pats my belly all the time now and either says "Baby" or "Elmo". Won't he be disappointed when she doesn't come out red and furry! Tyler is already disappointed and keeps telling us to make her into a boy. He does not want a sister. But atleast he's excited about sharing his room with Zach!
